Birthday Present Cake

I made this cake for Micah's 15th birthday. It's two layers of strawberry cake stacked under 2 layers of white cake with cream cheese filling between each layer, coated in buttercream and then covered in fondant with fondant cutouts and a fondant bow and ribbon all made out of homemade marshmallow fondant. This cake was alot of fun and I'm really pleased with the way it turned out.

Ipod Touch Cake

This cake was also made for my friend, Charlie. This one was made to look like the Ipod Touch his family got him for his birthday. The cake was a fluffy homemade White Mountain Cake and easily carved around the corners. It was iced in jet black buttercream and smoothed to perfection by my mom. :) Fondant "apps" were applied. Silver pearl dust was applied to the outer edge and buttercream frosting was piped for the details.

Camou Cake

This was a FUN cake to make for my friend Charlie, a Navy Seabee. The inside of the cake was camou as well as the outside. The cake was 2 layers. The bottom layer was camou... the equivalent of 3 white cakes, each tinted a different shade of brown or green. The top layer was chocolate. Cream cheese filling held them together. The the cake was covered in a camou pattern with buttercream frosting. The Seabee emblem was not edible. This cake fed a TON of people at our church.

Fun Pumpkin Cake

This was a fun pumpkin shaped caked I made for my friends. It was an autumn spice cake made in a fluted pan, covered in homemade marshamallow fonant with a fondant stem and fondant curly-cues!

Pink & Blue Baby Shower Cake

This was a baby shower cake I made for 2 moms in my church's MOPS group... one was having a boy, the other was having a girl. The cakes were yellow and chocolate, covered in tinted homemade marshmallow fondant, with marshmallow fondant roses and rolled fondant balls. White buttercream was piped for an added touch.

Steak n Potato Cake

What do you do when someone's having a birthday that prefers steak and potatoes over cake? You make them this steak and potato cake! This one was created for my boss/pastor, John. I sculpted the steak from pound cake and covered with homemade marshmallow fondant. The baked potato was made my shaping marshmallow fondant around some crumbled chocolate cake, topped with a gob of white buttercream and a few yellow starbursts were added to create the "butter". Too cute!

Basketball Cake

I made this cake for my son Riley's 8th birthday. The cake was french vanilla and it was iced with an orange tinted buttercream frosting. Fondant and buttercream were used to create the basketball hoop and other decorations.

Jo Jo Mickey Mo

This cake was made for Jonah, the 2 year old son of my friends, Jaime & Lisa to go along with his Mickey Mouse Club House themed party. The cake again was chocolate with a cherry cream cheese filling (everyone seems to love that combo). It was iced with yellow buttercream and fondant cut-outs were applied.

Brown & Blue

This was a fun and yummy birthday cake for my friend, Jackie. The cake was chocolate with a cream cheese and cherry filling. It was covered with chocolate fondant and piping was done in blue tinted buttercream.

This was an adoption/baby shower cake for my friends, Jayson & Sonya when they adopted their sweet little girl, Gracyn. It was iced with pink buttercream frosting and coconut was tinted pink for an extra touch. The flashing wand and tiara gave it just the right princess touch.

Polka Dot Baby Shower Cake

I made this cake for my friend Angie's baby shower. The bottom layer was chocolate. The top layer was cherry french vanilla... and everyone's favorite! It was covered in white fondant and fondant polka dot cut-outs were applied.
